More Than We Ever Expected

We would like to thank Silvertree for a wonderful program and implementation of our program in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. We contacted Silvertree and presented our wishes for what we would see and experience in Sri Lanka. In addition, we wanted to end our holiday with a stay at the Maldives. Silvertree came back with a good program proposal and had found the perfect resort on the Maldives. And all at a reasonable price. We were very pleased with the proposal. The contact with Silvertree was good, but sometimes it took a long time before we got our questions answered. But, everything worked out to the best and we have nothing to complain about. We got a wonderful driver and guide in Sri Lanka, Chaminda. He was incredibly safe and good as a driver and was very knowledgeable. We felt he was doing more for us than he really was supposed to do. All the hotels that Silvertree had booked for us were also very good. So, all in all we are very satisfied and will not hesitate to use Silvertree again.

One of Our Most Successful Group Tours to Sri Lanka

I had the pleasure of arranging a trip to Sri Lanka in April 2017, with a group of 30 people, where Silvertree was responsible for the planning of the trip. This includes both suggestions for the round trip and composing the complete program, organizing transport and activities, booking hotels, hiring a guide for the trip, etc. Overall, the group and I are very pleased with the product we received! The suggestions we received provided the basis for an exciting and well-balanced program, and there was great willingness and flexibility in terms of adapting all elements to our needs, based on very good product knowledge and good contacts. Great efforts were always made to find the best solutions for the group. We were very pleased with the bus used for the round trip, and with those who manned it, both the driver and assistant, and not least an excellent guide. The hotels used fully met our requirements, and had consistently good facilities and a convenient location. We had an enjoyable trip, with visits to many exciting attractions, lots of good food and friendly people everywhere. Having arranged a large number of trips over many years, this must be characterized as one of the most successful, largely thanks to good partners. Our family trip to Sri Lanka in 2024 was an absolutely wonderful experience, and traveling with Silvertree made all the difference — especially since we were traveling with small children. The accommodations selected by Silvertree were comfortable, welcoming, and well suited for families, and everything from transport to guides felt thoughtfully chosen. The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and easy to adapt for children, with plenty of mild options alongside the incredible local cuisine. What stood out most was how effortless the entire experience felt. Traveling so far with young children can be daunting, but with Silvertree’s expertise — and an outstanding driver — it turned into one of our most memorable family trips ever. We returned home with amazing memories, happy kids, and a deep appreciation for Sri Lanka and the people who made our journey so special.
