Upon your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcomed and assisted by a representative of Silver Tree Travel. The resort is situated on a former 209 ha (520 acres) coconut and coffee plantation, located adjacent to the Victoria Reservoir.  The concept was initially conceived by Mark Bostock, the former Chairman of John Keells Holdings in the 1950s. The 18-hole golf course was designed to USPGA specifications by golf architects, Donald Steel and Martin Ebert. Construction commenced in 1996 and was completed in January 1999. The course was named "Best in Asia" in 2005 by the publication Asian Golf and is also ranked in the top 100 of "Most Beautiful Courses in the World"

Check-out of hotel and leave to Nuwara Eliya. You can travel by road through the scenic routes or take the train. The Nuwara Eliya golf course was constructed in 1889 by a Scottish soldier of the Gordon Highlanders for the British servicemen and officials who were posted at Nuwara Eliya. The course covers approximately 40.5 hectares (100 acres) of land and was originally built amidst the tea plantations of this central highland region. The course is located at an altitude of 1,830 metres (6,000 ft) above sea level. It is an 18-hole, 5,851 m (6,399 yds), Par 70 layout – the scorecard is in metres, however, the distance from the yardage markers to the edge of the green are measured in yards. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and relax for the rest of the day.
